AL-X-T emerged from Detriot educated at the College for Creative Studies (where he began attending at age 14). Earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and chose an artistic career as an Art Director, Gallery Artist and Professional Photographer. In 1998 Alex accepted an offer from a Tattoo Shop owner in Greensboro NC. (Little John) to learn tattooing through a formal apprenticeship. Mentored for two years under the guidance of Donna Henderson, James Vaughn and Little John. Alex worked in several studios from Central to Eastern North Carolina. In 2006 AL-X-T relocated to South Florida where he still maintains a reputation for doing tattoos that are considered flawless pieces of fine art.
